My Brother-in-law is an old airplane buff so I thought this Fun Stampers Journey bi-plane stamp would be perfect for his birthday card. The stamp is an AT (Artist Trading) which are smaller sets of stamps (not that the stamps are smaller) and have a set price of $7.95. That makes them very affordable. This set has two word stamps in it too but I opted for a Happy Birthday stamp from my stash instead.
I like this color combination. It’s soft but masculine at the same time. The card base is Rock Candy card stock with a layer of Pool Party card stock on top. The Pool Party is stamped with the large stamp from the Brush Stroke stamp set using Pool Party and Beach Breeze inks. The clouds are cut using the Cloud Dreams die set on Whip Cream and Vellum card stock. The clouds are also journey glazed and glittered around the edges. The sentiment is white heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock and flagged on the end. And the bi-plane is stamped in Black Licorice ink directly onto the Pool Party layer. This card came together really quickly.
Thanks for looking today. Happy Stamping to you!
